I don't know, but I like his new "teddy-bear" style of makeup. It befits a face.

I'd say around 1998. Just kidding. I don't know, probably during his tag team title run with Booker T back in 2002. He was also fairly relevant in TNA.

When he was with Booker T. He was better that way. I think they should maybe give him one more IC title reign... Anyone agree?

The Goldust character? It was last relevant in like '03. It hasn't meant anything since early '98, though that's even pushing it because it should be '97. He was prominent in TNA though in '06 or '07 though (I can't remember, all I remember is his character sucked and he brought a rat to the ring).

Re: When was the last time....
IMO,Goldust was relevant in 1996 - 1997 His nasty gimmick was fairly controversial at that time & it drew alot of heat from the crowd who expected big tough guys like Ahmed Johnson,Razor Ramon to defeat him but somehow he always found ways to defeat those guys, his kissing Ahmed was one of the more disturbing incidents of those early times ntm many other crude acts.Once 1998 rolled around & the 'Attitude Era' was in full motion Goldust just became lost in the shuffle because everything was Controverisal!! from The Rock to Austin,DX,Vince,Corporate Ministry etc. Just my take on it anyway.

Re: When was the last time....
Now that I think about it, Goldust's gimmick should never have been relevant. If you think about it, he missed the boat by about a decade. I mean, "glam rockers" haven't been cool since about 1987. If he'd been in WWE then, he just might have risen to main-event status.
Wrestling-wise, I think Goldust's shtick is more relevant on RAW or on ECW than on SmackDown, so I hope that "Goldie" heads to RAW when he becomes a free agent next week. As has been pointed out here, Goldust has always been "controversial," and that is what RAW is all about. (SmackDown, meanwhile, is more of a "serious" wrestling show, and I don't think Goldust is really that good of a wrestler. He's strictly a "novelty" character, like Eugene or Jesse & Festus.)

Re: When was the last time....
Idk how true it is, but the only thing I mostly remember about him is way back in Middle School there was a rumor going around school that he had sexual relations with his cat, probably just a rumor but back then I was unsure lol.

Re: When was the last time....
He and Santino Marella should be a team. Santino's a good wrestler but is always getting squashed, and Goldie's a mediocre wrestler but seems to win more often than not - so it would be interesting to see how each would be used within the team. Besides that, they're clearly both supposed to be "funny" characters - and I, for one, simply can't get enough of Santino! He's been the single funniest person on RAW since Ron Simmons left. I'm dying to hear him call Goldust "Goldilocks" or see him confuse Goldust with Goldberg, or something like that.

Re: When was the last time....
The back end of last year when he was putting on some damn impressive matches and there were genuine murmurs of him being ECW Champion.
